David Drake brings over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in all aspects of general construction. His expertise includes custom carpentry and finishes, construction management, and project estimating.
Dave began his career crafting and installing custom kitchens and cabinets, where precision and attention to detail are paramount. Over time, he expanded his skills to encompass window installations, trim work, siding, kitchen remodels, home additions, and new construction. His experience also includes estimating and managing various commercial projects.

Each project presents its creative challenges and each one is unique whether it is a deck, a kitchen, or an addition. I never grow tired of starting a new project and the challenges it presents. I take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of the work I provide. I understand how disruptive remodeling is to a household. I added an addition to my own home a few years ago and understand first hand the mess and disruption. We moved the kitchen from one side of the house to the new addition along with a two car garage. The project was done part-time on weekends and took two years to complete. The driveway was moved and the backyard was completely regarded. Our two golden retrievers loved the muddy backyard and all the excitement of contractors working at the house. My wife, Sandy, my biggest fan and worst critic, while not as excited as the dogs, did her best to keep the house clean and dusted and her flower gardens tended throughout the project. While I always made it a point to contain the construction within a customer’s home, it was a profound experience to actually live within a construction project for so long and it gave me a much better understanding of what my clients experience.

We’re fortunate to have Marcelino Lopez- better known as Marce- on our team as a talented and highly experienced professional. A resident of Hartford, CT, Marce has been a vital part of our team based in Higganum, CT for over 11 years, and brings 27 years of industry expertise to each and every project.
Marce began his career working on historical restoration and commercial building projects throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. Over the years, he has developed unmatched skills in virtually every aspect of construction. His experience includes everything from framing and new home building to additions and fine interior work. Marce has a particular passion for kitchens, baths, and painting, where his attention to detail truly shines.

During our second meeting, we’ll present the initial designs for your review. Along with the designs, you’ll receive a detailed project estimate, which will include a breakdown of costs, payment schedules, and project phases.
Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll formalize our agreement with a comprehensive contract. This document will outline step-by-step details of the project, payment terms, and the expected timeline, including start and completion dates. You’ll have the right to cancel the agreement within three business days of signing without penalty or obligation.
This is where the planning turns into action, and the transformation begins! To start, we’ll refine the final construction drawings, confirm specifications, and secure your building permits. Throughout the construction process, our team will maintain open lines of communication, providing updates and seamlessly addressing any decisions or changes that may arise. Any revisions will be documented through a signed change order, ensuring everyone remains aligned and on track.

Great to work with. We have used this company for a major addition plus kitchen remodel. We then used them for a bathroom remodel and also a pool deck. Honest, very professional, fair, and easy to communicate and work with. Would highly recommend.
